Ian Edmonson

CAPTIAN

With nearly 40 years of experience living on Florida's Atlantic coast, Ian has cultivated a lifelong passion for the ocean that shapes both his personal and professional pursuits. His maritime journey began at nineteen with his first position in the Bahamas, where his love for the water translated into hands-on industry experience.

Ian brings a unique combination of maritime expertise and business acumen to the yachting industry. Over his 25-year real estate career, he built and operated his own successful real estate company while managing 40,000 square feet of office and retail space with 30+ tenants for an absentee owner for a decade. His leadership abilities were recognized through various positions at local and state levels, culminating in his role as President of the St. Augustine and St. John's County Board of Realtors. Throughout this time, Ian developed strong relationships and became a trusted advocate for the real estate industry and his peers.

Now transitioning into the yachting professional industry, Ian is excited to apply the same integrity and relationship-building skills that defined his real estate success. His practical maritime experience includes owning and operating a 42-foot catamaran for both personal use and day charters. Additionally, Ian provides professional captain services, including vessel delivery, sea trials, and comprehensive owner familiarization programs covering all systems and procedures to ensure safe operations.

Ian's blend of business leadership, maritime passion, and commitment to safety makes him a valuable asset to yacht owners seeking experienced, professional service.
